Returns & Exchanges

If you are returning an item we ask that you contact us in advance so that we may process your return quickly upon your arrival. You must bring your original sales receipt with you. If you wish to return an item larger than you are able to carry, you must contact our Customer Service Representative no less than (1) business day prior to the return so that we can accommodate and give you instructions for your return. We reserve the right to deny any return if these procedures are not properly followed because we are unable to properly receive this type of return.
Any item to be returned must be in original new condition, unused, unassembled, unmodified and in the original packaging material. If an item is not in this condition, it is not able to be returned under any conditions. Additionally, for any item subject to return, you will be refunded the original purchase price less any shipping or delivery costs for the original delivery plus the cost to return the item to our Distribution Center and/or original manufacturer. Additional restocking fees may also apply which will be deducted from your refund. No refunds will be initiated until items are returned and inspected by us. Refunds will only be made in the form of the original payment. No cash refunds will be made.
If You Purchased From Our Stock
You may cancel, change or reselect without fees within twenty-four (24) hours of your purchase provided you have not taken delivery or picked up your furniture. Small items such as lamps & accessories that are picked up may be returned within five (5) days for credit or refund. Approved refunds will be made in the same manner as payment, and will be less any unrecoverable credit card fees. For payments made in cash or check we will refund only by check within ten (10) days of your return. If your merchandise has been delivered or picked up, you have two (2) days to notify a store manager for any return requests. We reserve the right to make the final decision on any return request, therefore merchandise can only be returned with prior approval by management and only for store credit. Approved returns will be subject to a restocking fee in addition to delivery and pickup fees. Credits or refunds will only be issued upon return and inspection confirming that it is in like new condition.
Outlet, Showroom Clearance, and Final Sale items are sold AS-IS, no cancellations, returns, exchanges, refunds, or warranties under any circumstances.
If You Purchased a Special Order Item(s):
Special order items are made uniquely for you with your specifications. For that reason, these items cannot be returned to the manufacturer. You may cancel or change your order without fees within twenty-four (24) hours. Thereafter, an order may be able to be cancelled or changed but only with a cancellation or restocking fee of up to 50% with the remaining credit applied as store credit only.
If you have a concern about any special order item that you have received, you must contact our Customer Service Representative by phone within 2 days of receiving your order to see if the order can be returned for a restocking fee. If so, you will be responsible for any shipping, delivery and restocking fees that could range up to 60% of your original purchase.
Other Return Conditions
Items purchased as Clearance items or from the Outlet are AS-IS, no cancellations, returns or refunds.
Make Sure Your Furniture Fits:
It is the customer's responsibility to know and understand the furniture dimensions and to measure to be sure the furniture will fit in the room and through any doors, around any corners, under any low overhead areas and up any stairway or stairway landings. Neither Sofas Unlimited or our designated delivery service are responsible for furniture that is too large to be delivered. If it is difficult or impossible to place, maneuver or fit a piece of furniture by a two-man team due to conditions in your home, the consumer is responsible for providing additional placement assistance. The delivery service will not be responsible for damage to your home that results from your request of us to attempt placement in difficult conditions. Delivery personnel may require that you sign a waiver before any attempt is made in difficult situations that risk damage to your home and the furniture being delivered. If placement in the requested area is not feasible, our delivery personnel will place the furniture in an accessible area of your home. Furniture that you have ordered that is too large to fit into your home is not the responsibility of our delivery service and cannot be returned or cancelled.
